DDA COMPLIANT |
When equipped with both top and bottom crossbars, our cafe barriers meet the requirements of the Disability and Equality Act 2010 (DDA). This configuration provides audible tap and resistance for the visually impaired, ensuring compliance. The system features a fixed disc at the bottom, which secures the banner correctly and anchors the bottom rail without compromising its appearance. A more cost-effective option for events is to use only the top bar and secure the banner with bungees attached to the fixed discs at the bottom. However, this method is not recommended in high-traffic areas, such as cafes with paved flooring or restaurant seating areas, where full DDA compliance is typically required. |
