Exhibition stand design and build company

Background: Client was looking for a reliable new supplier for Tension Fabric exhibition graphics to support their growing business offering around 60 bespoke, modular and shell scheme exhibition stands per year.

Objective: The objective was to support the client by offering high quality of service & consistency of product and most importantly fitment for the graphics which would be produced for a range of modular systems including BeMatrix, Tecna T3 & Wall Mount F sections

Our approach: Our approach was to discuss the key failures of the previous supplier and focus on explaining how we can combat most, if not all those issues and put in place service level agreements that the client could use to help manage their clients expectations and lead times.

Solution: Our solution was to ensure our client knows how to supply artwork and orders in a consistent way to minimise any delays in processing jobs. This includes using very simple but effective methods of correctly sizing the numerous different TFS frame systems. 

To ensure consistency, we use tried and tested quality fabrics and production methods. Dye sub printing delivers the best result for the exhibition market. Options of materials and production methods were made and agreed with a focus on 3 core products of Blockout, Frontlit and Backlit fabrics.

Our tailored service level proposal included simple square meter pricing which were comparable with the previous trade supplier, agreeing standard production lead times that were better than previous supplier along with a commitment to work together on any requirements for special actions such as short lead times or price support for larger project.

Thanks to our industry leading pre production artwork processing methods, we were able to offer an extra layer of front loaded quality assurance which many of our competitors are not able to offer.

Result: As a result, our client has complete faith in using XG as their print partner for TFS graphics and in our last trading year over more than 50 projects we had a zero failure rate in relation to amongst other things: Lead times or graphic fitment.

…with a graphics overhaul by XG Group

XG Group has been proud to be an incumbent supplier of Silverstone Circuits for a number of years, collaborating with them to create branding that won’t go unnoticed. Whether it’s their regular signage or specialist event branding, we’ve loved seeing how their brand has evolved.

Most recently, Silverstone has begun the process of rebranding with a contemporary new look. This requires a complete overhaul for their first Silverstone Drive experience of the year. As the first comprehensive project we’ve worked with Silverstone on using their new branding, we couldn’t wait to get started!

The collaboration station

Where do we start when it comes to rebranding a renowned Silverstone event like the Silverstone Drive Experience? There is a huge array of products used at the circuits for customer information, way finding and general branding. With a set budget in mind, we were able to survey a branding wish list that Silverstone and gain inspiration for potential solutions.

The team at XG set to create visuals of the suggested designs, aligning with their brand guidelines and tone of voice. Each product comes with its own price point, enabling Silverstone Drive to prioritise how they would like to spend their budget. All items requested were able to be fully produced in-house, including:

The first event of the season was a huge success, and the branding looked great (if we do say so ourselves!).  As always, it was a real pleasure to work with the team at Silverstone and we look forward to seeing our products be used time and time again.

As one of the first on-site applications of our new brand, their design team worked excellently in channelling the new look and feel and tone of voice. It’s been fantastic to see the application being interacted with by customers getting hands-on with the new brand for the first time, whilst totally lifting the space to create a true sense of arrival for our guests.
