XG replaces flatbed cutters as part of an ongoing production investment

XG Group has completed the installation of two new flatbed cutters, replacing existing machines as part of its ongoing investment in production equipment.

The new cutters form part of XG’s wider programme to maintain modern, reliable production capability across its print and finishing departments.

Supporting in-house finishing

Flatbed cutting is a key part of XG’s in-house finishing operation, used to cut, shape and process a wide range of printed materials before they leave production.

While it is often one of the less visible stages of production, finishing plays an important role in the final quality, fit and presentation of printed graphics.

By replacing existing equipment with new machinery, XG continues to support the production standards clients rely on for display graphics, boards, panels, floor graphics, shaped work, and other printed applications.
