ITV Saturday Night Takeaway Centre Circle Pitch Banner
ITV Saturday Night Takeaway Centre Circle Pitch Banner
Really proud to shout about the 18.6 x 18.6m centre circle pitch banner that we produced for ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’.
It was a great pleasure working with ITV again, helping and advising them on how best to deliver a solution which gave great visual impact for the emotional ‘Question Cam’ segment on the popular TV show.
Used at Meadow Lane, home of Notts County football club, as part of a truly heart warming display, where a young girl asked her step dad to adopt her. Thank you to all at ITV for allowing us to help bring this incredible idea to life.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance Inflatable Dome Tent
Wiltshire Air Ambulance Inflatable Dome Tent
Wiltshire Air Ambulance wanted to move away from the conventional pop up gazebo for their fund raising events and engaged with XG to look at a new solution. The requirements were to offer shelter for both volunteers and visitors, to have branded on the walls to display imagery of their helicopter and it had to be easy to setup.
Inflatable tents offer fantastic brand exposure and are designed to be light, compact, fast to set up, strong and sturdy. Once inflated our inflatable tents do not require continuous air flow to maintain pressure, they also pack down and can be stored in smaller packaging than standard pop up tents.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance have used their 4×4 Inflatable Dome Tent at lots of events and have recently ordered another to add to their display kit.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance Marketing Team: “We’re delighted with our new gazebo from XG Group and it’s been equally well received by our volunteers and visitors to events where the gazebo has been used.
The new style certainly makes us stand out from the crowd and helps us promote our brand at both big and small events. It’s also really easy to use for our team.”

XG is Carbon Neutral
We are pleased to announce we are now a Carbon Neutral Business. We have calculated total emissions with Carbon Neutral Britain and now supporting verified Carbon Offsetting projects around the world.
By becoming a Carbon Neutral Business, we hope our steps make a difference to Climate Change & saving the planet now, whilst we also aim to measure & reduce our emissions each year with the goal of reaching Net Zero.
Carbon offsetting:
All the offsetting projects are certified to the highest standards through either the Verra – Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), the Gold Standard – Voluntary Emission Reductions (VER) or the United Nations – Certified Emission Reductions (CER) programmes. These are the most regulated offsetting standards in the world and ensure all measurements, and tonnes of CO2e are accurate, and verified.
Carbon Neutral Britain’s Climate Fund support schemes such as Wind, Solar, Hydro and Cook Stove projects, with a strong focus on offset projects that provide lasting social and economic benefits in developing countries around the world. Examples of the most recently supported projects include wind and solar projects in Chile, India and the Philippines, Hydro Power in Fiji and Brazil, and Cook Stove projects in Kenya.
Certification:
By having our Carbon emissions calculated and offset by Carbon Neutral Britain, we have the assurance that our carbon neutral claim is robust and credible, following calculation using the ISO 14064 and GHG Protocol Emissions Standard principles of relevance, completeness, consistency, transparency, and accuracy. It also certifies that offsetting has been undertaken using the international CER, VER and VCS Carbon Credit Standards.

TFS Graphics – Use the right formula
TFS Graphics – Use the right formula
Ever wondered how we can make hundreds of TFS graphics each week for dozens of different systems and guarantee they will fit every time? Simple, we know the right Formula.
The formulae we have created over the last 12 years are a result of a lot of hard work testing, experimenting, and analysing all the elements that can influence or effect the fitment of TFS graphics, these include frame type, fabric type, print method, finishing method, and so on. Here is a little insight on this:
The frame systems: Knowing what system the TFS graphics are being used with is important to ensure we use the correct TFS edging which is the first part of the formula. We know most systems out there but if you are not sure then we have ways of working that out.
In addition, it is essential to get the correct frame measurement which is an easy process because we only need to know the outside frame width and height.
The Fabric: Knowing the fabrics and how much they stretch is key. Each fabric type will differ, so we have developed methods for testing and managing this information to ensure every graphic uses the right formula and therefore has the right amount of tension when fitted in the frame.
Fabric manufacturing standards are very important to ensure quality and batch consistency, we manage this through established supply chains and in some instances, we have fabrics manufactured to our own specification.
Printing: Printing for TFS is not a ‘one–size fits all’. There are lots of nuances and technical considerations that need to be managed. We have plenty of experience in this field and have a primary print machine for each of our core TFS fabrics which improves efficiency and consistency.
Print orientation: On all fabrics, the stretch on the roll length will differ to the roll width. Normally each graphic panel is rotated to minimise waste however when printing multiple panels this can affect graphic line up so wherever possible we print all panels in the same rotation.
Cutting: All our TFS graphics are auto cut on our flatbed laser cutters. This ensures high levels of consistency and size accuracy but also seals the fabric edge to prevents any edge fray.
Sewing: Incorrect feeding process and speed are often the cause of a badly fitting TFS Graphic. Having the right sewing machinery and using tried and tested sewing processes are essential to this final stage of producing a correctly fitting TFS graphic.
People: Central to producing quality is the people and our people are passionate about getting it right. Our combined knowledge and experience and drive for quality are at the heart of everything we do.
Great reputation and customer loyalty: Combined with well-practiced working methods we have a fantastic formula to ensure we maintain our reputation for quality, service and consistency which is why our client retention is impressively high.
Did you know?
- Our quality does not come with a premium, we offer a trade service which is competitively priced and quality guaranteed.
- We can offer both Dye sub print or UV print
- We always recommend Dye sub print for exhibition and display graphics
- There are a wider range of fabrics available for Dye sub printing than for UV Printing
- Dye sub fabrics have more stretch than those developed for UV printing and therefore UV print specific fabrics have a lower fitting tolerance
- Creasing in dye sub fabrics will drop out under tension
- UV print specific fabrics often require rolling for transport to avoid creasing

Client Case Study – Luton Town Public Consultation Roadshow
Client Case Study - Luton Town Public Consultation Roadshow
Brand: Luton Town Football Club
Client: Activation Agency
Objective: Luton Town FC wanted to present details of their proposed new stadium prior to full public consultation. It was decided that the best way to put this across was to create a fully immersive environment and utilise several popular venues within the town in order to effectively take their message to the people. This was to be carried out at three different venues over an 8-day period with no breaks.
The exhibition was to take visitors from a registration area through an ‘experience corridor’ showing the interwoven history of club and town, before arriving in a main breakout area. On display there were to be two 3D scale models of both the Power Court, and Newlands Park sites along with graphics showing photos and general information. A side meeting area was required along with an exit survey area.
Build and derig time had to be kept to an absolute minimum (Max 3 hours build and 2 derig)
Turnaround time from brief to first live activation: Less than 4 weeks
Our approach: We discussed overall budget, timings and logistical challenges with client and offered a solution that kept the rigging crew, logistics and venue access requirements to a minimum achievable by choosing a modular display system with pre-fabricated frames and toolless connectors and seamless tension fabric graphics that all packed down into easily transportable wheeled travel cases.
Layout configurations were created along with budget options. Final design and budgets where agreed, graphic templates generated to enable the graphic design process to commence without delay.
Solution: Comprehensive build plans were provided and the install crew of four successfully achieved the build time for the 60 linear meters of walling and graphics, even on the first event despite having not used the system before.
The purpose-built exhibition opened for the public for the first 2 days at the Kenilworth Stadium. Filling the Eric Morecambe Lounge, it received more than 1,000 visitors on day 1 alone. It was then activated at the other venues
The exhibition then moved to Venue Central in Leagrave Road for 3 days before arriving at The Hat Factory in Bute Street for a further 3 days and then back to Kenilworth Stadium.
The public response was overwhelming with more than 3,000 people visiting the exhibition over the 8 days.
Luton Town FC chief executive Gary Sweet told lutontown.co.uk “This fantastic exhibition takes people on a journey through the history of the Club and of Luton itself, before arriving at an area that represents a very bright and bold future with graphics, plans and models of the two developments.”

Why are TFS modular systems good for events and experiential
Why are TFS modular display systems a worthwhile investment for experiential and event activation teams.
Modular displays are becoming more popular within the event, exhibit world. Versatile, lightweight and cost-effective displays that have a lot to offer, especially to those wanting to maximise their return on investment by redeploying and reconfiguring their systems for an endless list of purposes including: exhibitions, virtual environments, PR marketing events, product launches, roadshows, conferences and photoshoot backdrops. And when it is not out on the road, it can also be deployed for internal displays or additional company branding for receptions, training rooms or communal areas
Versatility
The versatility of modular tension fabric displays is undeniable. They are ideal for use at multiple venues and when the space requirements change, or the layout configuration needs to alter. The modules are flexible so they can be configured in different sizes with ease, making customization simple. You can configure graphics to maximise reuse across different display sizes as required.
Customizable
Because of the availability of a variety of different components, such as lighting, counters, shelving and more, you can customize the display to your liking. The modular display’s message is primarily communicated through the stunning seamless dye sub printed tension fabric graphic that overlays the frame system of the display. With a modular display and interchangeable graphics, you can tailor your message to specific audiences and modify them to highlight one message over another.
Cost-Effective investment
If you are looking for areas to save money, modular displays give you the most bang for your buck. If you factor in the reconfigurability and reuse your system, you can get a good return on investment in as little as 3 uses compared with options such as rental. But your investment can continue to pay back over and over for years so the potential savings are endless.
Durability
Modular displays are highly durable, even with transportation and repeated assembly. The frames are typically constructed with a tough material, like aluminium and the interchangeable tension fabric graphics are made from heavy-duty polyester. These hold up well over the course of their life, no matter how frequently they are used, making it a good long-term investment.
User friendly
Because they’re made up of lightweight yet robust components, modular exhibits are straightforward to transport. Toolless, self-build systems are some of the fastest and easiest products on the market to set up, so you won’t need to be an expert to get your backdrop or display looking perfect.

5 Reasons to swap to XG for all your TFS graphics
5 Reasons to swap to XG for all your TFS graphics
1. GUARANTEED FIT
XG were early adopters of fabric printing for the soft signage and display market in the UK. Very early on we realised that to ensure the fabrics fitted every time we needed to understand and control as much of the process as possible. We have since, worked with our preferred fabric manufacturers to develop fabrics to a specification and quality that perfectly suits our production methods.
We know the amount of stretch for each material and the maths for each TFS frame type on the market and we combine these to create special formulas for each graphic produced which are then accurately laser cut and finished to an exacting standard that ensures an unrivalled fitting consistency.
2. GUARANTEED LEAD TIMES
We pride ourselves in working with clients to facilitate their lead times, we also work with regular clients on standard lead times, so you will not need to negotiate on each and every project. When we commit to a lead time, we consider all the processes required to produce the job, the available capacity and once the lead time is agreed, we move heaven and sometimes earth to ensure that deadline is met.
3. COMPETITIVE CONTRACT PRICING
We offer standardised square meter pricing to give you the freedom to quote your jobs upfront. We can tailor pricing around your turnover potential and service level requirements to ensure we are always competitive.
4. UNRIVALLED EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
Expertise comes from experience and skill, and we have both thanks to the number of years we have been producing TFS Graphics. It has not been a smooth journey, but we’ve now paid our school fees and thanks to our technical approach we have engineered a product range which is both consistent and high quality.
5. SUSTAINABILITY
Whilst TFS Graphics are inherently more sustainable than almost every alternative graphic solution, we are going a step further and have started our journey to Net Zero and are on target to achieve this by mid 2023. We are also very aware of how industries like ours are full of greenwashing statements which is why we prefer to have conversations with clients to ensure they are able to make informed choices about what they buy.
