Double sided feather flags mark the reopening of Newcastle Castle

31 March 2015

Last week Newcastle Castle reopened to the public after undergoing a £1.6m refit. The Heritage Lottery Fund money was used to fully restore the Grade I Listed Scheduled Ancient Monument and it has now opened as an educational centre charting the city's history.

Double-sided branded feather flags, produced and finished by XG, stand tall at the Black Gate to mark this special occasion. The castle is linked to the Black Gate, which was added to the site by Henry III in the 13th Century.
