Coca Cola Case Study

10 October 2013

The drinks giant wanted to create an Olympic legacy by building excitement around the torch relay as it passed through various towns in the UK and showcased the positive things young people, some of which were torch bearers, were doing in their communities.

The activity featured a fleet of branded hybrid vehicles that travelled ahead of the torch bearers on the 70-day event, carrying ambassadors who handed out sample bottles of Coca-Cola and Coke Zero to spectators on the streets. XG Group was integral in managing the brand across the campaign, working with 2 separate agencies and 3 production companies involved with the project. Giles Puleston, sales director at XG Group, says “Our strong working relationship with agencies and production companies means XG could be entrusted with delivering consistency for the brand across all graphical elements of such a significant campaign”.
